Call for Artists

2017 CALL FOR ARTISTS IS OPEN!

Isis Women Arts is now accepting applications for its 8th Annual Women Arts Festival. Artists of various disciplines are welcomed to apply.

Isis Women Arts is a community-building organization for woman-identified artists! We provide a safe performance/exhibit space for underrepresented woman-identified artists to express their talents.

Festival Date:  April 22nd, 2017

Venue: Mokedo Art Gallery & Creative Event Space

Calling ALL ARTISTS:
-Dancers/Dance Groups
-Musicians, singers, bands
-Poets, spoken word artists
-Visual, sketch, and/or caricature artists
-Culinary artists
-Filmmakers
-Multidisciplinary work
-Cross-Cultural collaborations
-Experimental and alternative
…and any talented individual who wants to build community!

HOW TO APPLY:
Submit the following information to isiswomenarts@gmail.com with subject heading: “2017 Artist Application”

1. Artist Resume
2. Artist Statement
3. Cover Letter describing why you want to participate in the Isis Women Arts Festival
4. Work Sample (5 JPEG images, video link, and/or sound file)

**Performing artists: If you do not have a work sample, contact us to schedule an audition during the first two weeks of March.**

(APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 15, 2016. All applicants will be notified of acceptance by March 25th, 2016.)
